Hampshire Buildings Pre 1530

This is a distribution map of dendrochronologically dated (tree-ring dating) timber buildings in Hampshire. They are all from the late medieval period and date from 1244 to 1530. Again, thank you so much to all the owners who have granted me permission to enter their homes and businesses, without which none of this would have been possible.

Final stages

I am in the final five months of writing up the thesis now and would appreciate any input on late medieval timber framing techniques. Also there are about 20 dendro dated buildings in Hampshire I have not been able to get permission to survey yet, so if anyone knows anyone who could help…

MPhil stage
To date, around three quarters (79 of 108) of the buildings dated by dendrochronology in Hampshire have been surveyed as part of this project.
