I have finally surveyed all the pre-Black Death (pre1348) buildings dendro dated in Hampshire.

The ‘typical’ late medieval open hall (c1400-1500)

A = a typical northern or western ‘Cruck’ framed house
B = a typical southern or eastern ‘Wealden box frame’ house
